Play a Turn

Each turn begins with drawing 5 cards from the Draw Pile, which are then moved to your Hand for play. Your objective is to strategically place Units, execute movements, and use action cards effectively. Strategies vary, but starting with a mix of resource-generating and exploratory units is often recommended.

To play a Surge Card, click on it in your Hand to view its effects & details, then select a hex on the board to deploy the card. Unit Cards can only be placed on white hexes that have been explored; unexplored hexes are inaccessible. Action Cards are played atop Unit Cards.

Most cards require resources to play. Cards in your Hand will turn black and white if you don't have enough resources to play them.

You can end your turn at any point, but if you run out of resources or play all cards in your Hand, your turn will automatically conclude.
