The time-based leaderboard ranks players based on their Victory Points within a single game session. This arcade-style leaderboard ensures that players have a fair chance at getting to the top based on skill.
There may be additional leaderboard metrics that get added in closed beta based on player feedback or development progress.
What Are Victory Points?
Victory Points (VPs) are a measure of your in-game performance in achieving key objectives such as Missions. Accumulating VPs is the main metric of success in a game session, and will ensure that you rank high on the leaderboards.
The primary way to earn Victory Points in Outpost Surge is by completing missions. Missions require astronauts and resources to complete, so you must balance the cost of the mission against your other priorities in a game session.

Accumulate Your In-Game Balance
Each day, a leaderboard snapshot will take place and Testnet $SURGE will be distributed to your in-game account if you earn any. This will accumulate over time.
Claim Your Testnet $SURGE Tokens
Once you’ve earned Testnet $SURGE tokens in the game, you can claim your tokens into your Berachain testnet wallet. Here's how:
Connect Your Wallet: Ensure your wallet is connected to Outpost Surge and pointed to the Berachain test network. This can be done through the game’s interface, which provides a secure and straightforward connection process.
Claim Your Earnings: Navigate to the earnings section in the game, where you’ll find an option to claim your accumulated Testnet $SURGE tokens. Follow the prompts to transfer the tokens from your in-game balance to your Berachain wallet.
Enjoy Your Rewards: Once claimed, your Testnet $SURGE tokens are available in your Berachain wallet and will be used to add to your airdrop points balance.
